The Mediterranean Migration & Asylum Policy Hub (MedMA) of the European Public Law Organization (EPLO) invites you to a webinar presenting the policy paper “Secondary Movement of Beneficiaries of International Protection: From Greece to the Netherlands.”
The event will take place on Thursday, February 19, 2026, at 13:30–15:00 CET (14:30–16:00 EET). To attend the webinar, please sign up here.
The policy paper examines secondary movements of beneficiaries of international protection (BIPs) from Greece to the Netherlands and identifies the factors shaping onward mobility within the EU.
Drawing on qualitative interviews, it analyses decision-making timelines, key drivers linked to reception and integration conditions, and the implications for the Common European Asylum System. It concludes with targeted recommendations to strengthen integration outcomes and promote greater convergence in protection standards across Member States.

The webinar will feature a presentation by Dr. Tihomir Sabchev, author of the policy paper.
